Kairos – FORM Dance Tasks

Sydney Competition presents
KAIROS
Meryl Tankard
FORM Dance Tasks I World Premiere

In historic Greek, Kairos is “the precise or opportune second for doing, a second that can’t be scheduled.” That second is now for director Meryl Tankard AO, composer Elena Kats-Chernin AO and visible artist Regis Lansac OAM, who’ve created  a vibrant new dance work responding to those unsure and difficult instances.

Commissioned and produced by FORM Dance Tasks and created by three world-renowned Australian artists and very long time collaborators, with the subsequent technology of dance makers, this Sydney Competition world premiere will embody an enormous lexicon of human expertise and human motion: the darkish and difficult; the ugly and delightful; the humorous and joyful.

“Tankard’s reward for digging deeper into fundamental instincts… uncooked physicality colors the choreographer.
