BB – Sofi is 4

Sofi turned 4 final weekend ♡

We celebrated at my mother’s in Nilai to cater bigger crowd that we invited (however largely none got here, hah hahaha). To any extent further, Sofi’s celebration is family-only celebration till she will get her personal buddies that she needs to ask okay – no extra open celebration. I used to be so bitter final weekend I felt like canceling the occasion, however it was not ‘my’ celebration and we did have enjoyable ultimately. Severely, I can not consider now I needed to care whether or not I’ve buddies or not simply so Sofi has same-age buddies to play with. 

Anyway, it was not my day, it was Sofi’s day and I am glad she had a lot enjoyable.

Thanks to my ma & siblings for all of the do-it-yourself meals ♡– I requested a potluck celebration so we every needed to make one thing ourselves. I awakened at 5 am simply to make trays of macaroni + cheese, Aja made quiche and peach strudel, ma made mi kari, bubur jagung durian and ready fruits, Azmi made the cake, the tarts and the cupcakes, and Azura made the sandwich. 

All of us wore Ma’s purple Zanubah shirt, so it coincidently match Sofi’s Twilight Sparkle theme. That is the yr she ‘requested’ for her little pony’s celebration. So all of us performed together with the purple theme as nicely. She was so excited to be the primary character of the occasion – she needed to put on ‘the celebration hat’, or ‘the cape’. She knew it was her birthday, her cake, her candle, her spot. All, fairly attention-grabbing for me to observe as a result of she is my complete reverse and she or he’s growing her personal persona that’s alien to mine. She is so expressive and she or he voices it out, whereas I am timid and I do not say a lot in public. I am determining a strategy to information her one of the best that I can however she at all times surprises me.

• she began speaking
• she began kindergarten
• she obtained buddies at her college
• she improved in evening sleeping (this took 3 years..) 
• she stopped carrying diapers altogether (no extra evening/poopoo pampers)
• she obtained obsessive about My Little Pony
• she chooses her personal garments these days
• she will journey her scooter as much as 2+ km whereas I am operating
• she has her personal ‘make-up’ routine earlier than she goes to highschool
• she is aware of her ABC and 1-10 (in 3 languages)
• she will write her identify
• she’s very clingy to me (she was clingy with Af)
• oh, she exchanged her greatest good friend ‘baba’ for the brand new pony plushie 

She has 2 extra years earlier than beginning college, and sure, the toddler years glided by fairly quick as soon as she gained extra confidence in doing issues herself. Recently, she’s been saying that she is now not a ‘bb‘ (child) and she or he is a ‘large lady’. She instructed Af to not pokpok her to sleep as a result of she needs to sleep herself or she’s going to take the weighing balance, weigh herself and present me that she is now ‘large’. I do not know the place this obsession with ‘rising up’ got here from, as a result of I by no means actually pushed her if she will not be prepared. 

Anyway, she’s my darling and I hope I will probably be her greatest good friend so long as she wanted me to be.
