In the present day was a day for quiet artwork, with some color. I’ve began in a brand new A5 Sketchbook – A Royal Talens Artwork Creations one. It appears monograms are the theme for this one, a minimum of for now!

I drew the essential outlines of the design. I knew I wished so as to add color earlier than including the main points of patterns. So as to add color, I used comfortable yellows, greens and pinks from the Kuretake Gansai Tambi Artwork Nouveau set of watercolours.

I actually, actually love these watercolours. I really like the best way the imperfections and water-spots create an exquisite background texture. I believe I’ve lastly accepted that imperfections may be completely acceptable and great! I now wish to work out how I can replicate this in my digital and tradigital artwork. However not now. Not right now.
